What's this all about then?
betMooch Euro 2008 Fantasy Footy is a web site set up for you to show your managerial nouse/naivety in choosing eleven players that will perform the best at the Euro 2008 football tournament in Austria and Switzerland this year. You can also create your own custom leagues to compete against friends, family and other animals.
How do I add a team?
Simply go to the add a team page. If you feel a bit daunted by the 368 players on offer, use Steve McClaren's® lucky dip feature to have the website choose eleven players for you.
How does scoring work?
Scoring is listed in the rules part of the site. Basically, once a game is played our monkeys scour the official Euro 2008 website to see who played, who scored, who was a naughty boy and got booked, etc.
Scores uploaded to the betMooch site are final so no complaining that the match official later changed his mind about who got that the last touch before the ball ended up in the onion bag.
Why do some players seem in odd positions
Don't blame us. All player positions are taken from the official Euro 2008 website.
